Welcome veterans AND MILITARY SERVICE MEMBERS
All military and active-duty military receive discounted admission to the Aviation Discovery Fest. World War II veterans and military groups also receive free and/or discounted admission when they pre-register online. See below for more details.
World War II Veterans
We are pleased to welcome World War II Veterans and one guest, to serve as an escort – free of charge. At this time, we are only offering free admission to World War II veterans and their one guest, when they pre-register online. Veterans will have an oppurtunity to share their story first-hand as part of our Veterans Voices program. Please register by clicking the button below and you will be contacted by our event staff.
Veterans Groups
The CAF can provide group discounts to veterans’ organizations and reunion groups that pre-register. The CAF also can provide a limited number of 10’x10’ spaces at Aviation Discovery Fest for 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organizations that serve veterans. Each organization will be required to provide its own tent, table, and chairs. This space can be used to promote membership and awareness for your organization. Please, no fundraising or merchandise sales. Please register by clicking the button below and you will be contacted by our event staff.
Once you are registered to attend, we will send you additional information about the event and parking arrangements on-site.
While planning your visit, please remember the following:
- It can be hot or cold in Dallas this time of year! There are shaded and indoor areas available, but please be prepared for the weather.
- Even with access to close-in parking, much walking will still be involved. Please let us know if accommodations need to be made to facilitate you.
- Most aircraft built to fly in World War II can be challenging to climb into.
- Food is available on-site from a range of vendors at an additional cost.
